中文摘要 | 石灣陶是廣東佛山的著名民間工藝,在明代已有「石灣瓦,甲天下」之譽,清代達到鼎盛繁榮。(圖1)一般說法石灣陶源自廟宇、祠堂等建築屋脊裝飾,稱為「瓦脊公仔」,後擴展至民間的案頭擺設,並以人物造型最為著稱。因此傳統石灣陶塑充滿樸拙渾厚、自然親切的民間逸趣。2013年孟夏在國立歷史博物館展出的「石灣陶魂─廖洪標陶塑藝術展」,引起熱烈回響。廖洪標作品精湛傳神,其超過一甲子的創作歷程與心得,除傳承石灣陶美譽不墜,且重新詮釋現代石灣陶藝的嶄新風貌。 本文內容除略述中國陶都1石灣陶之演進發展;主題則在石灣老陶人廖洪標陶藝成因背景,兼論內涵與風格分析,再藉此次廖氏在臺參加展覽開幕採訪之便,完整溯源回顧其石灣陶藝創作之歷程。 |
英文摘要 | Shiwan Pottery is a folk craft began in Foshan, Guangdong. This craft reached its zenith during the Qing dynasty. Originally it was a form of decorative pottery figure on the rooftops of temples; later on it expanded to decorative figures on tables in common households. Traditional Shiwan Pottery, mostly figures, is characterized by its simplicity and humbleness, its natural and accessible presentations. In 2013, National Museum of History presented an exhibition of Liao Hong-biao's works of Shiwan Pottery, which won great critical acclaims. Liao's works are exquisite and represent six decades of maintaining and reinventing the Shiwan tradition. This paper will describe the history of Shiwan Pottery, trace the artistic development of Liao Hong-biao, and tell some stories to his engagement in the art of Shiwan Pottery. |
