英文摘要 | This study based on the five elements of the funeral ceremony of farewell such as "ritual process", "ceremonial space", "spatial arrangement", "Departures", ceremonial language usage" to review the study history of Taiwan’s funeral farewell ceremony, and to present the overall study results provide future research trends. Research ranges from AD 1901 to today's academic accumulation. "Taiwanese folk tradition funeral rites research" 〔Xu,1984〕is the first Ph.D. dissertation of the funeral study in Taiwan. It opens the door for the study of the funeral rites field. In the past decade, the impact of newly established funeral-related academic departments, the implementation of funeral-related laws and other factors have attracted the attention of many interdisciplinary researchers to the subject. Since the year 2000, the number of papers has increased tremendously, especially on the topic of ceremonial research. Most papers tend to be multiple-issues oriented. The further elaboration on the five elements can also be utilized in the research survey, and to possibly broaden the optional farewell ceremony element choices for the family. The increasingly diversified backgrounds of the researchers have added multiple characteristics and contributions to this field. Researchers are no longer limited to the Department of Life and Death, but also come from ethnology and other disciplines. In the future, there will be new horizons for the in-depth study of every funeral rites process and development. |
