中文摘要 | 黃式三《論語後案》、劉寶楠《論語正義》,都是清儒詮釋《論語》的名著。自清末以來,以《正義》影響力較大。本文認為,二書詮釋經義的角度方法不同,《後案》漢宋兼采,重視禮意詮釋,《正義》則是純漢學,側重名物訓詁的詳博。因黃式三為史學家,《後案》較《正義》還雜入了更多史家之議論。具體來說,《正義》采輯古說較《後案》廣博,但忽視義理建構,以致於訓詁亦多失誤。《後案》闡釋方式靈活,對義理的發揮較為精彩。《正義》太多篇幅用在鄭玄《論語》義的解釋上,因為鄭義的殘缺,所申又不盡當。《後案》以「禮意」建構《論語》義理體系,往往與鄭玄經義體系偶合。 |
英文摘要 | Both Huang Shisan's "Lun Yu Hou An" and Liu Baonan's "Lun Yu Zheng Yi" are Confucianism masterpieces from the Qing Dynasty interpreting the Analects of Confucius or Lun Yu. "Lun Yu Zheng Yi" has enjoyed increasing popularity since the late Qing. This article holds that these two masterpieces studied the Analects from different views with "Hou An" of Song and Han styles, giving more emphasis to the interpretation of philosophy, whereas, "Zheng Yi" of pure Sinology, dwelling on commentary. Huang Shisan was a historian, thus "Hou An" shows more historical arguments. In detail, "Zheng Yi" applied more explanation but neglected the framework for philosophy resulting in many misinterpretations of the Classics. "Hou An" employed a flexible way to expond Confucius. "Zheng Yi" used too many words on Zheng Xuan's studies of the Analects of Confucius. "Hou An" built the philosophy system which parallels Zheng Xuan's system. |
