中文摘要 | 本文採用穿透式鉛擋塊的觀念,對Eletha高能直線加速器的多葉準直儀系統執行強度調控治療時,因舌槽效應結構所產生的葉片間劑量降低的區域製作補償器,以平順化劑量分佈。補償器以鉛材質製成鉛條塊,厚度為0.8 cm,長為10 cm,寬度為0.7 cm,鉛條塊間隔為0.3 cm,置於固態水假體表面;取Kodak 10x14in2 驗證片,平放置於固態水假體內,距射源100 cm 處,於最高劑量點(dmax)深度進行照射,採單一葉片分單、偶數組分別進出方式照射;驗證片經沖洗後,使用大型Epson Profession 10000XL掃描器,以300 dpi解析度掃描,再使用Ray Radiation Analyzer劑量分析軟體進行分析,讀取並觀察補償器對舌槽效應劑量降低尖峰值及全寬半高值得補償效果。結果顯示:6 MV X光的劑量降低峰值從22.12%減少為4.02%以下;10 MV X光的劑量降低峰值從30.96%減少為6.05%以下;6 MV X 光的全寬半高值變化從0.38 cm 到0.23 cm;10 MV X光的全寬半高值變化從0.46 cm 到0.25 cm。本研究結果顯示舌槽效應劑量降低可用穿透式鉛擋塊的觀念,將葉片照射區劑量降低至舌槽效應劑量降低的百分比,以平順化舌槽效應劑量降低的嚴重程度。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, the concept of partial transmission block was used to design and manufacture the multileaf collimator compensator for intensity-modulation radiation therapy for Elekta linear accelerator. The compensator used to compensate the tongue-and-groove effect of multileaf collimator. Lead was used to form a 0.8 cm thickness, 0.7cm width, 10cm long lead block and 0.3 cm space each other. Lead compensator was placed on a set of 30 x 30 x 20 cm solid water to perform the compensation. Kodak 10 x 14 in verification films were used to measure the tongue-and-groove effect at depth of maximum dose. The SAD was set to 100 cm. After the films were exposed by one leaf in and out mode, the films were developed and scanned by Epson Profession 10000XL scanner with 300 dpi resolution. Then the films were analyzed by Ray Radiation Analyzer to read out the underdosage percentage and the full-width half-maximum of the peak to compare the effect of the compensator. We found that, for 6 MV x-ray, the underdosage percentage peak were reduced from 22.12% to 4.02%, for 10 MV x-ray, the underdosage percentage peak were reduced from 30.96% to 6.05%. The full-width half-maximum of the peak for 6 MV x-ray was reduced from 0.38cm to 0.23cm and reduced from 0.46cm to 0.25cm for 10 MV x-ray. We concluded that the tongue-and-groove underdosage effect can be smoothed by the partial transmission block strips with low cost, convenient and easy operate for clinical applications. |
