英文摘要 | Global economic recession has exerted tremendous impact on Taiwan. High unemployment rate results in social disorder and social security problems. In addition, interpersonal relations and value system have undergone tremendous change. The function of social control, as a result, is on the verge of collapse. With society almost falling apart, the number of criminal cases has been on the increase from year to year. Based on National Police Agency's statistics of major crime types in Taiwan, the researcher finds that of all crimes committed, including common crime, larceny, fraud and breach of trust, and offence of narcotic drugs and psychotropic act, larceny is the Top 1 crime. Obviously, larceny cases out number all other crime types. Larceny, indeed, is an extremely serious social issue. In view of the phenomenon, the present paper endeavors to delve into this problem as its focus of investigation. The basic statistical data of this paper comes from the 2012 larceny cases provided by Taipei Daan Police Precinct. By applying grey entropy model in grey system theory, the paper analyzes and calculates the values of different types of larceny cases, thus obtaining weighting relations between different types of larceny cases. This study can provide the authorities concerned with a new analysis method. It may also help improve the situation the police administration is faced with larceny cases. |
