中文摘要 | 本文發展三維數值模式,模擬造波水槽中入射波與繫纜浮式結構物互相作用的問題,研究目的為探討三維數值模擬如何重現二維問題特性。數值模式包括浮式結構物運動方程式、懸垂纜繩有限元素模式、以及波浪場邊界元素模式,同時,整個模式則在穩定週期性運動的條件下,利用纜繩與結構物銜接條件,以及結構物表面的波浪條件聯立求解。本文三維模式可以用來計算Sannasiraj et al.(1998)所作波浪水槽的試驗,以及二維數值模擬結果。由本文數值模擬結果顯示,波浪水槽試驗本身就是三維問題,若試驗條件提供足夠,則三維數值模式可以模擬出試驗結果。另一方面,由於繫纜的幾何形狀非線性,水槽試驗條件需要作適當調整,才能夠計算出所要的二維問題特性。 |
英文摘要 | In this study, a three-dimensional numerical model is developed to simulate incident waves interacting with floating structures with mooring cables in a wave channel. The objective is to obtain two-dimensional characteristics of the problem in three-dimensional calculations. The numerical model includes the equation of motion of the floating structure, a finite element model for the catenary mooring cable, and a boundary element model for the wave field. With the assumption of steady and periodic motions the entire problem is solved using connecting conditions of cables and the floating structure, and boundary conditions of waves on structural surfaces. The present three-dimensional model is used to calculate experiments conducted in a wave channel and two-dimensional numerical results by Sannasiraj et al. (1998). Present numerical simulations indicate that the experiment in the wave channel is three-dimensional in itself, and the result can be reproduced if provided conditions are sufficient. On the other hand, experimental conditions used in the wave channel should be modified such that two-dimensional characteristics of the problem can be calculated. |
