中文摘要 | 陶淵明詩,語淡味腴,自然深粹。辭賦雖僅三篇,卻都是素懷洒落,逸氣流行。蕭統讚揚淵明文章是:「文章不群,詞采精拔,跌宕昭彰,獨超眾類,抑揚爽朗,莫之與京。「(〈陶淵明集序〉),其人被譽為田園派宗師,安道苦節之大賢,影響後世,至深且鉅,因而奠定其在中國文學史上之崇高地位。 本文分四層探討,首為前言,論述為知人論世故,探討詩人作家之文學淵源有其必要性,蓋不窮其源,就不辦其流,若不曉得其變;則不識其途。另亦對鍾嶸《詩品》言淵明「源出應璩」,略為討論,以為依鍾氏當代背景立論,有其依據,以今日判定,則個人以為陶詩之淵源是:「上承《詩》、《騷》,多採諸子,酌法漢魏,兼取大家」,若論其辭賦淵源,則是:「本祖《風》、《騷》,上法漢賦,近取短賦,而後創新風格以成。」(《陶淵明之人品與詩品》)。今特就其詩賦,淵源於《楚辭》探究,以掃除迷霧,釐清真相。 為澄清某些疑慮,於探討之前,特先確定幾項認知,第二節即論述陶淵明於受教過程中,必從傳統文學中,諸如《詩》、《騷》汲取豐富之養分,表現歷史之繼承性,蓋可「為之本」、「可以搏其源」、「可以裨其思」。而淵明作品中,運用《楚辭》典故處,竟達七十處之多。可見《楚辭》為淵明學習之典範,屈原之端直耿介,憂國憂民,更是淵明向其學習之人格典範。第三、四節,則自:(一)引用、鎔鑄。(二)題材、手法。(三)風格、意境等三項,加以論證,以證明《楚辭》確為淵明詩賦淵源之一,其取《楚辭》為己所用,活用《楚辭》,取鎔《取辭》,並注入已身之生命,始能使淵明詩賦別開生面,獨步文壇。 |
英文摘要 | To discuss the sources of Tao Yuanming’s Odes, I will divide this essay into four sections. The first section is an introduction, elaborating the influence of literary tradition and Tao’s predecessors upon the poet as a writer. Also discussed is Chong Rong’s assertion that Tao’s Odes originated from Yin-Chu. However, my contention is that Tao’s poems derive mainly from Shi-Jing, Li-Sao, with a greater part adopting the writing style of Han and Wei poets and a smaller part o this and that. In comparison, Tao’s Odes are transformed from Popular Ballads, Li-Sao, the odes of Han Dynasty, and the prose essays of later generations. Hence, the influence of Chu-Tsir on Tao Yuanming is beyond doubt. The second section will illustrate that Tao’s education is composed of such literary traditions as Shi-Jing, Li-Sao, and heritages of later times. It is, them, small wonder that there are more than 70 allusions to Chu-Tsir—a sign that Chu Tsir is the model for Tao Yuanming. And Qu Yuan’s uprightness is, no doubt, the personality model for Tao. Sections, 3 and 4 will trace Tao’s wide application of allusions, interpolations to his writing of odes while at the same time employing no different subject matter, writing style, taste, and technique from his predecessors to develop his themes. All this proves that Tao Yuanming’s Odes have their origins from Chu-Tsir. |
