英文摘要 | Abstract Rational yard crane deployment is very important to the efficiency of terminal operation in a container terminal because yard cranes are the most frequently used equipment for container handling. This paper studies how to optimally deploy multiple yard cranes to perform multiple container flows (a loading and unloading operation considered as a container flow). This deployment problem is formulated as a mixed integer non-linear program. The objective functions are to minimize the maximum completion time of each container flow and minimize the make-span of all tasks in all container flows. The paper solves the deployment problem to find the deployment solutions. The results show that the program finds effective solutions for the deployment problem base on the work schedule of container cranes. |
