英文摘要 | This was a case study of a 22-year old woman suffering from ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome after oocyte donation. In the hospital, she dealt with not only the physical symptoms of abdomen distention due to ascites, but also emotional stress from hiding the fact of oocyte donation from her mother. The patient could not make medical decisions which signified the necessity of offering timely nursing intervention. The nursing period started from April 29, 2010 to May 10, 2010. Nursing evaluations were completed via interview, observation, physical evaluation, and Roy's Adaptation model. The health problems included altered comfort pattern, excess fluid volume, knowledge deficit, and ineffective individual coping. By using professional knowledge to improve her physical suffering, giving loving care and listening, and establishing Family Support System, we helped her face the disease, overcome the physical and psychological discomfort, and achieve the best adaptation. |
