中文摘要 | 本實驗主要是以多列式電腦斷層掃描儀評估非離子性含碘顯影劑在19 隻犬後大動脈之顯影特性,並分析最佳的顯影相關條件及數據。實驗分成兩大主題:主題一為統計學上無顯著體重差異的兩組中型犬(20.58 ± 6.32 kg與23.13 ± 6.03 kg),分別給予不同的顯影劑注射速率(3 mL/s與4 mL/s)。主題二為以相同的顯影劑注射速率(4 mL/s)分別在統計學上有明顯體重差異的中型與大型犬(23.13 ± 6.03 kg與62.28 ± 9.63 kg) 之間做比較。實驗結果顯示與人醫相關研究類似,所有犬隻電腦斷層掃描下後大動脈之時間—顯影曲線均在短時間內到達最大顯影值,之後隨即下降並隨代謝而漸漸消失,而在這期間會產生最合適判讀的顯影期間。相較於人類,犬隻此曲線明顯的在時間軸上左移。此外主題一之結果顯示較快的顯影劑注射速率會使血管較快達到最適顯影值,也會有較高的最大顯影值。主題二則顯示體重越重的犬隻需費較長的時間方達到最適顯影值,而其產生的最適顯影期間也相對較長。此外我們也發現,當顯影劑注射完後隨即給予適量的生理食鹽水,臨床上可以減少顯影劑的使用量而不影響顯影效果,同時產生更高且更長的最適顯影期間。 |
英文摘要 | In this research, the imaging characteristics of non-ionic iodinated contrast medium in the caudal aorta of 19 dogs were evaluated under 16-row MDCT. Study 1: contrast was injected with different speeds (3 mL/sec and 4 mL/sec) to two groups of dogs with similar body weights (20.58 μ 6.32 kg and 23.13 μ 6.03 kg). Study 2: two groups of dogs with significant different body weights (23.13 μ 6.03 kg and 62.28 μ 9.63 kg) were administered with contrast at the same injection rate (4 mL/sec). Similar to the observation in humans, the time-enhancement curve in caudal aorta of all 19 dogs achieved the maximum enhancement rapidly, during which an optimal enhancement period was generated, and the enhancement decreased afterwards following metabolism of the contrast. However in dogs, the time-enhancement curves are shifted more leftward. The result of study 1 shows a faster injection rate achieves the optimal enhancement period sooner, and with higher maximum enhancement attenuation. Study 2 shows dogs with heavier body weight will spend longer time to achieve the optimal enhancement period, and this period is more extended comparing to dogs of lighter body weight. In addition, a saline chaser following the completion of contrast injection further decreases the required volume of contrast without impacting the optimal aortic enhancement. This also produced an even higher and more prolonged optimal enhancement period. |
