中文摘要 | 本研究根據行政院新聞局第二十次至二十九次推介書目(1994-2007年)的中小學生優良課外讀物中,推介範圍針對學齡前與國小低年級學童「科學類」的兒童圖書作品爲研究對象,研究文本數量爲學齡前45冊,國小低年級100冊,共計145冊,了解科學類兒童圖書的出版情形,並針對其内容做深入分析。研究結果發現如下: 1.優良科學類圖畫書的推介數量以推介給小學中年級兒童閱讀的比例最多占37%,其次是小學高年級占23.8%,而推介给學齡前幼兒閱讀的比例最少僅占8.06%。 2.推介给學前及小學低年級閱讀的科學圖畫書中,以資訊型圖畫書居多,其次爲故事型圖畫書,而以幻想型圖畫書最少。 3.科學圖畫書主題以動物主題居多,其次爲地球科學的主題;小學低年級比學齡前有較多數學主題的科學圖書。 4.圖文配置方式以圖文交錯的方式爲最多,小學低年級比學齡前有較多漫晝格配置方式的書籍。 5. 科學知識部份以「動物的生長、生態、生理」之概念最多;科學態度部份則以引發兒童的「參與發現」及「探討」之態度居多;科學技能部份以引發兒童的「觀察」、「比較」,或是教導兒童動手「操作/實驗」的活動居多。 6.科學圖書的延伸學習部份含括:閱讀指導、延伸教學、附錄、Q&A與電子光碟等,其中以提供閱讀指導比例爲最多。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study is to analyze the structures and contents of published children's science picture-books for grade 1 and 2 elementary school and preschoolers recommended by Government Information Office. The findings were as below: 1. The ranking of recommended excellent science picture-books for K-8 students are grade 3 to 4 (37%), grade 5 to 6 (23.8%), grade 1 to 2 (18.3%), junior high school (12.6%) and preschoolers (8.1%) respectively. 2. Information type is the major one of recommended book styles for preschoolers and grade 1 and 2 of elementary school students. The second and third are story and fantasy type respectively. 3. The main subject of science picture-books is animal and the next one is earth science. Within science picture-books, it has 12% of mathematics for grade 1 and 2 elemental school students and 4.4% only for preschoolers. 4. The setting of comic style pictures is found to start from elementary school not seen on preschooler now. 5. For the area of scientific knowledge, the main topics of science picture-books are animal's growth, living environment, and physical conditions. The portion of scientific learning attitude is to trigger the curiosity and attendance of scientific activities for kids. About the field of scientific skill, science picture-books are focusing on the guidance of observation, comparison of different topics or the activities of hand work experiments. 6. Except the main chapters, the contents of science picture-books also include reading instruction, teaching instruction, appendix, question and answer, and electronic devices (CD/VCD). |
