中文摘要 | 現今三維模型普遍是透過三維掃描硬體設備所產生,但所構建出的三角網格結構,由於模型表面的變化程度不同,普遍會有不規則性的問題,導致後續應用三維模型進行重建或壓縮無法達到預期的結果。另外三維模型的外型特徵對三維模型的呈現是很重要的。因此一個好的網格重製演算法不僅要改善網格之規則度,更要維持住物體之外型特徵。 因此本論文提出可以自動保留外形特徵且可快速修正網格規則度的網格重製演算法:首先透過分析物體表面共平面特性的表面分群方法來自動依據模型外形特徵進行分群;接著針對各個所選取的平坦分群表面區塊使用規則格線進行重新選取取樣點的步驟,此步驟可快速的在所選取的表面內部產生大量且具有規則特性的網格;最後利用三維模型網格重建法加強各群之間界接處網格的規則度,以獲得一個可保持物體外形特徵且具有良好網格規則的重製模型。 |
英文摘要 | By laser scanner to get the surface of a three-dimensional (3-D) object, there are usually irregular situation because of the variance of surface. Therefore, using these types of 3D models can not obtain good result in the mesh compression and surface reconstruction. Sharp feature is an important characteristic of geometric model. An ideal remeshing algorithm can not only improve mesh regularity but also preserve the sharp features of original model. In the study we present a new technique for remeshing that preserves sharp feature automatically and generates highly regular mesh rapidly. Firstly, we apply an improved surface segmentation method which automatically captures the global structure of input models. Then we optimize mesh regularity for every patch by equilateral triangle grids. Since the mesh optimization is applied on local patch and improve mesh quality without globally relocating sample points’ positions, our remeshing algorithm can keep a reasonable computation time. At last, we smooth the regularity of triangles near patch boundary by a local relaxation method. |
