中文摘要 | 照服員不但是目前機構主要的人力照護提供者,同時也影響機構之照護品質。本研究採描述相關性研究,透過結構性問卷,以中部地區16家長照機構,271位長期照護機構照服員為資料收集對象,包括本國籍照服員204位及外籍照服員67位,探討其個人基本特性、面對老年住民照護過程之希望感、死亡態度、情緒困境及其相關。 研究結果顯示,不分內外國籍之照服員皆以女性、高國中學歷、約1-3年照護資歷、有末期照護及經歷病患過世經驗、無宗教信仰者為主,及對宗教認識普通、多數未參加過安寧課程及來自安養機構。其中本國籍照服員年齡多為中年婦女,較外籍照服員希望感低,且傾向負向的逃離導向之死亡態度。外籍照服員之情緒困境高於本國籍照服員。不同國籍照服員之基本屬性,包括年齡、性別、宗教信仰、教育程度、有無末期照護經驗與機構性質皆是影響希望感、死亡態度與情緒困境之因素。 |
英文摘要 | The care givers are not only main manpower in long-term institutions, but also effect the quality of care. This descriptive co relational research was designed to explore the hope、the attitude toward death and emotional distress of the different nationalities care givers in institutions. Using questionnaire, we recruited 271 care givers include Taiwan natives 204 and foreign native 67 from 16 long-term institutions. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection and the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS), version 11.0, was applied to analyze the data. The results was shown that most of the care givers are female;senior or junior level education;married;have1-3 years care and terminal care experience;no religious faith or religious faith was moderate;no job training for hospice care and most of them come from senior care centers. Most of the middle age and the sense of hope of the Taiwan natives care givers was fewer than foreign native care givers, and the negative attitude toward death was more than foreign native care givers. But the foreign native care givers emotional distresses were higher than Taiwan natives care givers. The different culture care givers’ age、gender、religious faith、education、terminal care experience and instituted pattern were the major factors influenced on the hope、the attitude toward death and emotional distress. |
