英文摘要 | Classroom observation can be an anxiety-provoking tool of examination and evaluation; but it also plays an important role in the training of new teachers, and in enhancing collaboration and communication between teachers. This paper describes a pilot study to sample the attitudes of Applied English department instructors in Taiwan to classroom observation in hopes that it will provide clues for sensitive, directions in which to further explore and shape teacher attitudes to classroom observation. First, a coarse index of openness to classroom observation is presented and discussed, followed by summary and analysis of information derived from follow-up interviews. |
