英文摘要 | In this paper, a new approach based on the moiré theory and continuous wavelet transform (CWT) is proposed for measuring the micro-range distance between an object grating and a reference grating. When an object grating is imaged by thin lens, then the moiré pattern image is obtained from the overlapping of the imaged grating and the reference grating. The period of the moiré pattern image will be changed when we move the object grating closer or further away from the thin lens. The micro-range distance is obtained directly by measuring the pitch of the moiré pattern, the pitch of the moiré pattern can be estimated by counting the number of fringe with the CWT technique. Experimental results prove that this technique is very efficient and highly accurate. The experimental set up is an economic technique for measuring a micro-range distance. |
