英文摘要 | The supply chain environment requires a new spirit of cooperation between the buyer and the vendor. The integrated inventory model can contribute significantly to better the vendor-purchaser relationship. Both purchaser and supplier may benefit from the negotiation process and the two sides may then determine how to divide the savings. In the production environment, lead time is an important element in any inventory management system. Traditionally, most of the literature dealing with inventory problems treated lead time as a prescribed constant or a stochastic variable, which therefore is not subject to control. However, in many practical situations, lead time can be reduced by an additional crashing cost, and hence is controllable. Traditional inventory models assume that certain parameter such as setup cost is constant. However, this may not be the case in many practical situations. For example, ordering cost can be controlled and reduced through various efforts such as worker training, procedural changes, and specialized equipment acquisition. Thus, setup cost can be reduced by additional capital investment. That is, it is controllable. This research develops a integrated inventory model for minimizing the total joint annual costs incurred by the vendor and the purchaser. The objective is to simultaneously optimize the order quantity, lead time, setup cost and number of delivery while the probability distribution of the lead time demand is normal. With these properties, the efficient solution procedures are presented to determine the optimal inventory policies speedily and optimally. |
