中文摘要 | 本研究係以不同濃度硝酸銀、氯化銅與活性碳混合,使用乙二醇還原法製備金屬化活性碳,藉由能量分散X-射線顯微分析儀(EDX)、掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM),評估其表面元素組成、微觀構造,同時測定比表面積(BET)、大腸桿菌數及總落菌數,期以了解金屬化活性碳之基本性質及抑菌效能。結果顯示:金屬活性碳中金屬的含量與溶液濃度呈正相關增加,銀金屬在活性碳呈聚集狀,銅金屬為小碎塊狀,分散於活性碳上。就比表面積而言,金屬化活性碳者比原活性碳減少了0.3-43.3%。抑菌效能研究顯示,活性碳並沒有抑菌效果,但銀金屬化活性碳為0.001M濃度者就有抑菌效能且比銅金屬化活性碳之抑菌效果更佳。 |
英文摘要 | In this study, the metallized activated carbons were made from blending activated carbon and different concentrations of silver nitrate and copper chloride by using the ethylene glycol reduction method, respectively. Energy-dispersive X-ray microanalyzer (EDX) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) were employed to evaluate the surface element compositions of the products, microstructures, and to measure their specific surface area (BET), Escherichia coli (E. coli) number, and the total colony number, in order to understand the basic property and antibacterial behavior of metallized activated carbon. The results showed that, the particle number of metals increased with the increasing concentration of solution. Ag+ particles showed cluster distributions, while Cu2+ particles were fragmented and nude inside the activated carbon. The BET of metallized activated carbon was lower than that of the original activated carbon, with a ratio of 0.3%-43.3%. Activated carbon did not show any antibacterial efficiency toward E. coli in water. However, 0.001 M AC(Ag) demonstrated its great capacity in the antibacterial test, with much better effect than that of AC(Cu). |
