英文摘要 | ABSTRACT The study of combined effects of surface roughness and rotating inertia upon squeeze film characteristics between parallel circular disks is presented in the present paper. The stochastic Reynolds-type equation for rotating squeezing circular disks is derived according to the Christensen stochastic approach of rough surfaces [4, 6]. A closed-form solution for the mean film pressure is obtained, and applied to predict the mean squeeze film characteristics. From the results obtained, the rotational inertia effects result in a lower mean load-carrying capacity and a shorter mean response time; however, the effects of surface roughness upon the mean squeeze film characteristics depend on the pattern of roughness structure. On the whole, the surface structures with circumferential roughness increase the mean load-carrying capacity and lengthen the mean response time; but the effects of surface roughness with radial structure upon the squeezing load and the response time are reversed. |
