| 英文摘要 | In this study, the applicability of identifying structural cardiac dysfunction using a normalized spectrum of oscillometric pulses is discussed. According to the clinical measurements supported by the Cathay General Hospital, it is found that the pulsatory signals of patients with cardiac disorders (especially structural cardiac disorders, such as valvular heart disease and myocardial disease) may contain more frequencies than normal subjects. Thus, we constructed a quantitative index, named as "heart index", which first normalizes the oscillometric pulses and then applies a spectrum analysis (FFT) to the normalized signals. Then the index is estimated on the basis of the frequency distributions of the spectrum of the oscillometric pulses. Although the signals measured from wrist can be easily influenced by measurement position of the wrist, which is usually elevated to the heart level, the signals are believed to contain information of the cardiac structures. Positive correlations between the "heart index" and the patients with cardiac disorders were found. |
