中文摘要 | 本文旨在透過文開書院籌建始末為觀察起點,深入探究主要倡議者鄧傳安在選擇陪祀八賢時提出的標準,如何展現他建構在臺儒學系譜的意圖。 鄧氏來自權力核心,擁有詮釋及發言權,本身又深習朱子儒學。他提出的取捨標準不僅是個人思考取向,同時也是當時官方價值觀的一個縮影;在論述此八位對臺文教有功之先賢時,不但將其與朱子學整合,這幾位跨越南明、鄭氏至清朝的賢儒透過文開書院祭典、祭文、碑記之公開宣示,可看出鄧氏已將南宋朱子至盛清藍鼎元連成一個一脈相承的儒學系譜。此一系譜的完成除指出文化主體的連續性,也同時讓我們看到鄧傳安有意藉此將臺灣納入清領漢人文化圈。 |
英文摘要 | Starting from the examination of Uen-Kai School, the present study is to explore the intention of Chang-ang Dang to establish a scholar tree of Ru-Chia in Taiwan when he selected the eight scholars of Ru-Chia as the spiritual symbols for the School. Dang, a disciple of Chu and a member close to authority then, had a power for interpretation, and acted as a spokesman. The criterion that he proposed for section of the eight scholars reflected not only his personal preferences but also the values of the authority at the time. When he stated the contributions the eight scholars had made to Taiwan, he not only integrated and coordinated all of their work but also depicted a scholar tree of Ru-Chia dated from South Ming Dynasty to Ching Dynasty. This complete tree outlined a continuity of the mainstream culture and Dang's intention to include Taiwan into Hang's domain. |
