英文摘要 | The aim of this paper is to study synthesis and properties of novel nanoscale materials from amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) and hybrid hyaluronic acid (HA)/ACP materials. We thither investigated the effects of surface-coating nanomaterials made from these composites on periodontal ligament cell adhesion and proliferation in vitro. The results of these experiments demonstrated that coatings composed of ACP and hyaluronic acid (HA) significantly increased adhesion and proliferation of the cells compared to bare glass slides. Therefore, it is suggested that ACP not only initiates mineralization in forming mineralized tissues but also plays a role in the regulation of cell physiology at the initial mineralization sites. The results also show the potential significance of HA/ACP composites in periodontal tissue restoration and tissue engineering applications. |
