中文摘要 | 樟芝(Antrodia cinnamomea; Chang-Chih)為臺灣著名的藥用菇類又稱為牛樟芝,其具有解毒、抗高血壓、抗肝炎及抗肝癌等功效。本研究目的為探討培養樟芝水萃取物對高血脂倉鼠的血清及肝臟脂成份與抗氧化酶之影響。實驗結果顯示,樟芝水粗萃取物在750及1500 mg/kg下對患有高血脂疾病的倉鼠血清總膽固醇及高密度脂蛋白(HDL)濃度均沒有顯著的影響,然而對血清之三酸甘油酯與低密度脂蛋白(LDL)濃度則有輕微的降低效果。有趣地此萃取物具有顯著的劑量效應降低肝臟總膽固醇及三酸甘油酯。與正常對照組比較,患有高血脂疾病的倉鼠之肝臟過氧化氫(CAT)、超氧化物岐化(SOD)及穀胱甘過氧化物(GPx)濃度均明顯較低,然而樟芝水萃取物則能提高患有高血脂疾病倉鼠肝臟的CAT、SOD及GPx濃度。除低劑量樟芝處理組外,餵食樟芝水萃取物也具有降低脂質過氧化物(TBARS)的效果。綜合以上結果,此研究推斷樟芝萃取物具有降低肝臟三酸甘油酯及總膽固醇、與提高肝臟CAT、SOD及GPx的功效。 |
英文摘要 | Antrodia cinnamomea, also known as Chang Chih, is a popular medicinal mushroom for treating intoxification, hypertension, hepatotoxicity, and liver cancer in Taiwan. The present study aimed to investigate the effects of aqueous extract of cultured A. cinnamomea fruiting bodies (ACE) on lipid profiles and antioxidant enzymes in experimentally induced hyperlipidemic hamsters. Results showed that at concentrations 750 and 1500 mg/kg, ACE exhibited no effect on plasma total cholesterol and high density lipoprotein (HDL) concentrations in hyperlipidemic hamsters. However, a weak lowering effect on plasma triglycerides and low density lipoprotein (LDL) levels was noted. Interestingly, ACE significantly lowered the liver triglycerides and total cholesterol levels, and the decrease was in a dose-dependent manner. Compared to the normal control group, hyperli8pidemic animals showed significantly lowered levels of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT) and gluthatione peroxidase (GPx). However, administration of ACE led to an enhanced production of these enzymes. Besides the group treated with low ACE dosage, administration of ACE also effectively suppressed the production of thiobarbituric reactive substances (TBARS). Taken together, this study concludes that ACE possesses lowering effects on liver triglycerides and total cholesterol levels, as well as enhancing the production of SOD, CAT and GPx. |
