中文摘要 | 台灣位於亞熱帶之高溫多溼地區,夏季熱緊迫造成對乳牛生理及繁殖上不利的影 響。利用噴水及吹風之循環方式將牛體浸溼,隨後吹風蒸發水分,迅速將熱散發,為紓解熱 緊迫的方法之一。本試驗之目的即在應用此法探討夏季熱緊迫對乳牛之生理,生產及繁殖性 狀之影響以及紓解後之效果。 本試驗於1996年6∼9月期間,在全省六個地區之酪農進行。試驗乳牛以自動噴水(1 分鐘),隨後吹風(5分鐘)之方式,進行30分鐘,是為一循環。酪農每日進行7∼9次之 循環。牛舍內並以電腦自動記錄器記錄溫溼度。試驗期間包括畜舍溫溼度及直腸溫度之有效 記錄共880組。試驗結果,乳牛之直腸溫度差(涼前減涼後)平均下降0.22±0.36℃,涼後 平均維持在38.78∼39.13℃,而畜舍之溫度影響不同時段之牛直腸溫度差異極顯著(P< 0.01)。試驗組乳牛之總混合日糧(TMR)平均採食量較對照組高2.79kg╱d,差異極顯著(P <0.01)。涼前涼後之呼吸數比較,涼前平均55.2次╱min,涼後平均為51.9次╱min,平均 相差3.3次╱min,差異極顯著(P<0.01)。乳牛之平均乳量及體細胞數分別為19.7kg╱d及 350×1000╱ml。經產牛受胎率平均為20.9%,女牛則為53.3%。結論認為,應用噴水吹風 之循環降溫措施,可以由直腸溫度及呼吸數之降低、採食量之增加而有效紓解熱緊迫,並且 有維持泌乳生產以及提高受胎率之效果。 |
英文摘要 | Taiwan is located in the subtropical area with high temperature and humidity. Dairy cattle exposed to such adverse environments have reduced productive and reproduction performance. A method of cooling animal based on repeated wetting in the coat, followed by its rapid evaporation by using forced ventilation has been adopted. Effect of cooling on rectaltemperature (RT), milk production, physiological and reproductive performance was examined in 6 districts of farms with 880 pairs of rectal temperatures and temperature-humidity records. Cooling was made by and automated system, which actuated sprinkling ( 1 min) followed by forced ventilation ( 5 min )for 30- min periods. The barn temperature and humidity were also automatically recorded by the computers (StowAway TM). Cows were cooled 7-9 times/d from 06:00 h through 22:00 h (grouped in 8 time- interval by 2 hrs) over 4 omnths (Jun-Sep). Differences of RT between pre- and post-cooling reduced an average of 0.22±0.36℃, maintaining the range of 8.78∼39.13℃. Results indicated that the decreased RT at different time intervals was highly affected by the barn temperature (P<0.01). The average daily intake of total mixed ration of cooled cows were higher (2.79kg/d) than the control (P<0.01). The difference in average respiration rate between pre- and post-cooling (55.2 vs 51.9 times/min) were highly significant (P<0.01). Milk production and the average somatic cell count of cooled cows were 19.7kg/d and 350×1000/ml, respectively. Heifers had higher conception rates (53.3%) than lactating cows (20.9%)(P<0.04) which indicated a slight improvement in fertility during the hot season. The cooling system has potential to alleviate heat stress in dairy cows and to improve their thermal balance, productive, and reproductive performances. |
