中文摘要 | 應用美國荷蘭牛協會提供的12,920筆遺傳缺陷檢測資料,分析本省近20年來(民 國 64 年 1 月至 84 年 7 月 ) 進口的美國冷凍精液公牛系譜。 結果發現雖然有一頭公牛 的父親及 13 頭公牛的外祖父有併蹄症的基因, 但所有公牛本身並未檢測出併蹄症 (Mule-foot) 或坡菲林症 (Porphyria) 基因。 單譜症 (Deficiency of Uridine Monophosphate Synthase, 直譯為尿核��單磷酸合成酸缺失症,國際上簡稱為 DUMPS ) 部 分, 亦僅有一頭公牛 (簡名 SEGIS ) 的精液輸入,其進口期間在民國 74 年至 76 年間, 共引進了 4, 000 劑量,但是不論以檢測個體計算 (1/341) 或劑量加權計算 (4, 000/409, 467) 其雜合型 (DP ) 頻率均小於 1%。牛淋巴球黏力缺失症 (Bovine leukoctye Adhesion Deficiency, 國際上簡稱為 BLAD) 的致死基因是目前所知散佈最普遍的乳牛遺傳缺陷基因 ,在 457 頭已檢測公牛當中,有 43 頭是雜合型 (BL),佔 9.4%。 如以進口精液劑量作計 算,有 53,642 劑量為雜合型 (BL ) 公牛精液,而總檢測公牛精液量為 502,752 劑,其雜 合型 (BL) 頻率為 10.7%。 如以年期來檢視其雜合型頻率:民國 70 年以前為 16.75%,71 年至 75 年為 29.7%,76 年至 80 年為 19.4%,81 年至 84 年為 5.8%。 由於美國冷凍精 液在過去佔有本省 80% 以上的市場,利用美國荷蘭牛協會提供的檢測資料, 可快速追蹤可 疑的雜合型公、母牛,配合本地自留小公牛的分生檢測,將可迅速降低孔牛族群中有害遺傳 基因的頻率。 |
英文摘要 | The American Holstein Association offered 12.920 genetic defect tested records to TLRI for the genetic frequency analysis. The imported frozen semen data of the last 20 years was from January 1975 to June 1995. The pedigress and doses of the imported frozen semen were merged with genotypes of the four genetic defects. One sire and thirteen maternal grandsires of the bulls were carriers of mule-foot but none of the bulls were found to have mule-foot or pink tooth defect gene. The bull SEGIS was a DUMPS (Deficiency of Uridine Monophosphate Synthase)carrier from which 4,000-dose semen were imported in 1985 to 1987. The estimated by bulls (one out of 341 tested bulls) or by doses (4,000 out of 409,467doses). BLAD (Bovine Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency) was the most serious genetic defect of dairy cattle in Taiwan now.Forty three out of 457 tested bulls were carrier (9.4%) and 53,642 doses out of 502,752 doses of tested semen were from carrier bulls (10.7%).The results represented by time periods were 16.7% (1975-1981),29.7% (1982-1986),19.4% (1987-1991)and 5.8% (1992 to 1995.)America is one of the most important dairy cattle frozen semen- exporting countries for Taiwan. From import records, more than 80% semen was from America. Therefore applying testing data from USA or other countries can help to shorten the time reguired for cleaning the undesire genes for Holstenis in Taiwan. |
