中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討在建立「終身學習社會」的趨勢下,技術學院及專科學校如何發 揮「社區學院」教育的功能。探討的重點包括技專校院辦理社區學院教育的定位與功能、課 程的內容、教育的對象、師資、修課及招生方式等問題。本研究採用了文獻分析、問卷調查 、專家座談等方法。文獻法旨在探討國內外相關文獻對前述問題的觀點及先進各國的實際作 法; 問卷調查法係調查 558 位民眾對技專校院辦理「社區學院」教育的意見和期望;專家 座談法係徵詢 50 餘位學者專家對技專校院辦理「社區學院」教育的意見和建議。 本研究主要結論如下:(一)技專校院辦理的「社區學院」教育應具五大功能;(二)課程 應採多元化與層次化;(三)教育對象應以在職人士與成年民眾為優先;(四)師資來源應 多元化並多聘請實務界專業人士任教;(五)修課方式應以方便民眾修習為原則;(六)招 生方式應重視多元化與彈性化。根據以上結論,本研究提出相對應的建議,供技專校院推展 「社區學院」教育參考。 |
英文摘要 | With the progress of technology and diversity of society, many people have been undergoing profound pressure from the business, job, and community settings. Therefore, the call for people with sophisticated knowledge becomes loud. The purpose of this study was to examine the related topics, including functions, curricula, ways and means of course presentation, student recruitment, and administrative procedures, in the promotion of "community college" education in technological institutes and junior colleges in Taiwan. A mailed survey and panel discussions were used as the methods for data collection. 50 scholars and school administrators, in the field of continuing education, were invited to join a series of seminar and to give their professional comments and suggestions as the content of questionnaire. 558 useful questionnaire were received and produced 86% response rate. Based on the findings, this study proposed some suggestions. Hopefully, the results of this study would provide valuable information in terms of the promotion of "community college" education and give clear directions for technological institutes and junior colleges with limited commitment in Taiwan. |
