中文摘要 | 近年來,科學教育相當重視科學史在科學教學中所扮演的角色,並且教學的重點 已不再只是灌輸學生知識,而是教導他們如何思考,因此教師是否具備科學史觀及運用科學 史教導學生作科學思考的教學專業知能是我們所關切的。因此,本研究藉由科學史中有關伽 利略自由落體思維實驗設計成研究工具,來探討職前教師在經歷與思考伽利略自由落體思維 實驗中關鍵問題,以及在認知見習伽利略自由落體思維實驗中的科學思考後,對其未來的科 學有何啟發。本研究工具以開放式問卷呈現,以「質」的方式對職前教師的作答進行分析。 本研究根據職前教師的作答分析發現:(1)職前教師會以習慣的牛頓典範進行思考,而不容 易以融入問題情境的伽利略模式的推理思考進行思考;(2)從職前教師對比薩斜塔實驗、斜 面實驗及沈體實驗的統合批判中可以發現,職前教師比較偏向對比薩斜塔實驗、斜面實驗及 沈體實驗進行個別的批判;(3)職前教師較忽略伽利略自由落體運動思維實驗中的批判思考 創造思考;(4)職前教師認為以伽利略所做的落體運動思維實驗來教導學生認識自由落體運 動,對學生的學習更具有啟發性;(5)職前教師認為伽利略的落體運動思維實驗可以提供較 寬廣的思考空間,不僅可以培養學生的科學思考及科學過程技能,也可以讓學生認識科學發 展的過程,這樣更能激起學生的學習動機。 |
英文摘要 | For the recent years, science educators have begun to pay their attention to the important position that the history of science held in the field of science education. The main point of teaching is not just filling the students with information and knowledge; instead, we should teach them how to think. Thus, we are concerned about if a teacher has science thinking capability and the ability to teach the students ways of scientific thinking. Hence, this research's theme is to use the Galileo's thought experiments in freely falling bodies in the history of science as a base to design a research instrument; and to use this instrument to explore what scientific thinking would a pre-service teacher use during the context of Galileo's thought experiments in freely falling bodies. This research begins with open-ended questionnaires, and analyze the answers of the pre-service teachers on the bases of "quality". According to the analysis of the answers of the pre-service teachers, we find:(1)pre-service teachers have a habit of using the Newton paradigm to cogitate, and they have trouble blending into the situation of the problem to use the Galileo's ways of thinking; (2)from the pre-service teachers' holistic criticism of the Pisa Tower experiment, inclined plane experiment, and the experiment of object in liquid of different density, we can see that pre-service teachers are bias toward giving individual criticism; (3)pre- service teachers often neglect the critical thinking and creative thinking of the Galileo's thought experiments in freely falling bodies; (4)pre-service teachers think that by using Galileo's experiment in the freely falling bodies to teach students freely falling bodies is more inspiring; (5)pre-service teachers believe that Galileo's thought experiment in freely falling bodies can offer students a more widely thinking area, and a chance to understand the process of science evolution which will stimulate the students' learning motivation. |
