英文摘要 | The relationship between the miscibility and mechanical properties of polymer blends of poly (2,6-dimethy-1,4-phenyloxide) (PPO) , Polystyrene (PS) , high impact polystyrene (IPS) and styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) was studied. The miscibility of these blends was examined using dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) , and the morphology was examined with scanning electron microscope (SEM) and transmission electron microscope (TEM). The miscibility of PPO/SBS blends increases with the styrne/butadiene ratio. The effect of PPO content on the mechanical properties of these blends is related to the miscibility of PPO and SBS, as explained by a micelle model. |
