英文摘要 | The cycloolefin copolymers (COCs) in this study are made from ethylene and 2-norbornene from metallocene catalysts. The polymer synthesis involves continuous polymerization of solution process employing a series of metallocene precursors with the presence of a cocatalyst. The feed of comonomers is kept at constant ratio by continuous feeding of both monomers. The resulting materials exhibit unique properties such as low density, high transparency, low birefringence, low dielectric constant, and extremely low water absorption. These special features of COCs indicate their potential replacements of some high-priced polymer materials. |
