英文摘要 | Ozone transfer in aqueous solutions was conducted with a rotating packed contactor (RPC) operated under various factors such as rotor speed, gas-liquid flow rate ratio and gaseous ozone concentration. This observation suggests that the centrifugal force provides an additional beneficial effect on the mass transfer rate of ozone. The ozone transfer in the RPC was increased with decreasing gas-liquid flow rate ratio and increasing rotor speed. Ozonation of 2-chlorophenol (2-CP) in aqueous solutions was also conducted with the RPC to study the effect of ozone transfer on the ozonation kinetics. The pseudo-first order decomposition rate constants of 2-CP for experiments conducted in the RPC was about two times greater than those conducted in the traditional static packed bed contactor. |
