| 英文摘要 | The removal of trihalomethanes (THMs) and humic substances (HS) from water by sonochemical reaction were investigated. Four THMs and on HS were selected for sonochemical studies using a closed batch reactor in which no headspace was allowed in order to minimize volatilization of any THM during reaction. Both THMs and HS were decomposed rapidly by sonochemical irradiation in aqueous phase. The first-order sonochemical reaction rates of THMs follow the order of the vapor pressure of the TMMs, with chloroform being decomposed the fastest and bromoform being the slowest. It was also observed that the sonochemical decomposition rates of THMs were affected by the steady-state temperature of solution and the initial concentrations of THMs. Based on the Arrhenius expression, the lowest activation energy value was obtained for dichlorbromomethane and the largest value was obtained for bromoform in the controlled sonochemical reaction condition. HS can be degraded effectively by sonochemical process. The reaction rate followed a pseudo-first rate expression. It was observed that metal ions such Fe(Ⅱ) and Mn(Ⅱ) showed catalytic effects while Al(Ⅲ), Ca(Ⅱ), and Mg(Ⅱ) had inhibitory effects on the removal of HS. Results also showed factors such as hydrogen peroxide dose affected the formation of disinfection by-products. |
