英文摘要 | Isopentenyladenine(IPA), zeatin(Z) and dihydrozeatin(DHZ), each dissolved in Hoagland solution at low concentrations (10 to 10 M), were conparatively tested on rice (cv. Tai-Keng 3)seedling shoot and root growth at 23℃ from Nov. to Feb.. Results show that only Z at 10 M was effective in promoting sedling shoot growth, but not DHZ or IPA. None of test solutions affected root growth. Interestingly, it was found that in summer season DHZ was the only one effective in promoting rice seedling shoot growth, but not Z or IPA (Tung, 1986). In other words, rice seedlings distinctly select DHZ and Z as their growth stimulant in summer and winter season, respectively. These results also suggest that cell biochemical structures of rice seedlings grown in different seasons may be somewhat different in terms of growth fitting to cytokinin types. |
