中文摘要 | 吳郭魚(Tilapia, Oreochromis mossambicus)盛產於臺灣且易於飼養,適合做為研究魚類生理的實驗材料。兒茶酚胺系統(Catecholaminergic system)廣泛分佈於哺?類及魚類的腦內,參與多種生理作用,故了解兒茶酚胺系統的分佈有助於魚類生理之研究。而迄今尚無有關兒茶酚胺系統在吳郭魚腦內分佈的研究報告。本研究利用螢光組織化學法(Fluorescent histochemistry techniques)來探討兒茶酚胺系統在吳郭魚腦內之分佈。結果顯示視前區(preoptic area)、下視丘(hypothalamus)有密集的兒茶酚胺的分佈。其他,終腦腹側(ventral telencephalon)、視葉(optic lobe)及第四腦室旁的延腦(medulla oblongata)亦有分佈。 |
英文摘要 | The catecholamines, dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline act as neurotransmitters or neuromodulators in the physiological and behavioral functions of fish. Catecholamines react with glyoxylic acid to from fluorescence. The glyoxylic acid fluorescence method is a useful and sensitive tool for the visualization of central catecholaminergic neurons. In the present study, the distribution of cateholamines in the brain of tilapia, Oreochromis mossambicus was investigated with fluorescent histochemistry technique. The results show that the hypothalamus and preoptic arca display the hightest density of catecholamines. The catecholamines also distribute in the ventral telencephalon, the optic and medulla oblongata within the ependymal wall of the fourth ventricle. |
