英文摘要 | This paper describes a formulated process for transmission system optimization in the multi-speed hub for the bicycle, i.e. optimization on the specified arrangement of the planetary gear train. The maximization of the speed-ratio range is selected as the objective funciton for demonstration. The geometric conditions and the performance requirements of the planetary gear train are defined as constraints. A sequential quadratic programming scheme (SQP) using modified branch-and-bound method (BBM) for discrete optimization is applied. The addendum modification coefficients are applied for each gear and pinion to decrease the structure size and enhance gear tooth strength. Results are shown that the transmission capacity, defined as the ratio of the maximum speed-ratio to the minimum speed-ratio, can be enhanced by 30changing the arrangement of the planetary gear train. |
