中文摘要 | 研究者所在之醫學中心實施個案管理已三年,整體作業亦趨穩定,故欲探討病患家屬對此項服務作業之滿意度,以作為後續作業改進之參考。本研究旨在探討病患家屬在接受個案管理後對此服務的滿意度。研究方法採量性描述性研究設計,以2004年4月-11月胸腔內科病房病患經「個案管理評估篩檢」≥5分者為研究對象,共收案50位,研究工具為「個案管理滿意度量表」,於病患出院後一週以電話訪問的方式進行資料收集。結果顯示:(1)整體滿意度為3.2±1.32分,介於可接受與滿意之間。(2)「個管師關心病患方面」最為滿意;「個管師專業技術方面」較不滿意。(3)病患篩檢表得分、出院後去向、用物準備項目、經濟補助與滿意度有顯著性差異。(4)個管師在該服務年資與滿意度具相關性。整體而言胸腔內科病患家屬對個案管理之服務滿意度高,值得繼續推廣。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to learn patient family members' satisfaction with Chest Medicine Case Management services in a metropolitan hospital in Taiwan. This study used descriptive design to randomly select 50 family members of those patients who received the Chest Medicine case management services between Aprial and November 2004. The assessment tool, case management service satisfaction, contained 21 items that were categorized into four subscales: (1) facility, (2) case manager's professional skills, (3) caring and (4) information. The level of satisfaction are uses a 0-5 Likert Scale. The total scores ranged from 21 to 105; the higher number indicates a higher level of satisfaction. The satistical analysis used SPSS Windows pc 11.0 software to calculate descriptive, two sample t test, and Pearson correction. The data collection was conducted by telephone interview of family members one week after patients were discharged. The satisfaction survey results showed: (1) mean score was 3.2±1.32; ranged between “acceptable” and “satisfied”, (2) “caring” had the highest score while “professional skills” was the lowest, (3) “screening score”, “discharge arrangement”, “checklist to prepare supplies for home care” and “financial aids” scores were significantly different from the “satisfaction”, (4) “care managers' years of service in chest medicine department was negatively correlated with family's satisfaction. The study results may be used as a baseline to continue the chest department case management service. |
