中文摘要 | 早年台灣開始創辦藥學系時,藥學教育已強調實務經驗學習在專業養成之重要性,因而訂定三年級暑期兩個月之實習。實習生於實務學習過程中,有機會習得實務操作,認識如何將專業知識與技能應用於藥事服務,進而透過接觸人群、切身感受民眾需求,體會藥學於社會之角色。本文以臺大藥學系開授逾二十年之社區藥局實習教學為主題,由其時代背景所發展至今較為完備的制度,闡述現階段課程之設計與實施辦法,並納入實習生、指導藥師與校方實習訪視專家經驗探索,以呈現社區藥局實習教學重點,及實務經驗傳承各面向參與者,在「教」與「學」過程中的嶄獲。 |
英文摘要 | The importance of integrating experiential training into pharmacy curricula has been recognized in early 1950s, at the time the School of Pharmacy, National Taiwan University (NTU) was established. A two-month experiential program including hospital and industrial settings has been initiated and arranged during summer session for the fourth-year to-be students. Pharmacy students may be oriented to practice routines, apt use of professional knowledge, and skills for dealing with patient encounters during experiential trainings. Furthermore, through in-person confronting with the public, youngsters may perceive impressively the role of pharmacy within the society as a whole. We describe herein the course development and achievements at different stages of the NTU Community Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPEs). Our Community IPPEs has been instituted prior to the start of government-run National Health Insurance (1995) and the separation of prescribing and dispensing policy (1997) and continued without interruption over a period of more than two decades, even though it is an elective course. Current course design, contents, execution guideline, as well as viewpoints from students, preceptors, and on-site inspectors of experiential teaching are all depicted. The article aims to highlight the aims, goals, and course contents of community experiential teaching, and the rewards returned to those who engaged in the processes of teaching and learning. |
