| 英文摘要 | An attempt is made to investigate some interesting compound multiplicity characteristics in ¹⁶O-Em collisions at 4.5 A GeV/c, where the number of grey and shower particles taken together is termed the compound multiplicity. The results reveal that the compound multiplicity distributions become wider with increasing size of the struck nucleus, and the value of < nc > increases with increasing mass of the projectile and target. Moreover, the average compound multiplicity is found to vary linearly with shower, black, grey, and heavily ionized particles, and the mean multiplicities of shower, black, grey, and heavily ionized particles increase with an increase in the number of compound particles. Meanwhile, the dependence of shower, grey, and black particles produced in the forward and backward hemispheres on the number of compound particles emitted in the forward and backward hemispheres is also investigated. Finally, the compound multiplicity distribution was observed to obey a Koba-Nielsen-Olesen(KNO) type of scaling law. |
