英文摘要 | Political principles are the focus of Xunzi’s philosophy because he held the view point that a ruler should target at the policy of benevolence. How to employ and mange talented personnel is a crucial issue in government or management. In several chapters, Xunzi revealed his thoughts on management such as to clearly define the responsibilities of different official posts; to revere virtuous and able staff as well as discerning self-seeking and wily characters; and to recognize and draw on suitable people. Xunzi’s philosophy of employment includes both manger and staff tws facets also the interactions between the two. In any of the aspects Xunzi analyzed all the important issues profoundly and provided useful solution. His proposals are certainly valuable on the subject of employment in modern politics or administrative management. |
