中文摘要 | 本論文的分析,主要是根據11位嫁到高雄地區的大陸新娘的深度訪談紀錄,特別是她們來臺之後的生活經驗與社會互動,所做的詮釋。研究發現受訪的大陸新娘在自我形象的建構上,大多採用「同化」的策略:一方面強調自身與臺灣女性的相似性,一方面突顯與外籍配偶、假結婚真賣淫大陸女子的差距,以減低自身身分的特殊性,希望藉此能為臺灣社會所接受。遠嫁來臺的大陸新娘雖然都定居於高雄,仍散居於高雄各處,尚未發展成一個有行動力的整體,所以適應模式與認同策略大多停留在個人的層面。不過,在不同的場域中大陸新娘扮演著不同的角色身分,多少也運用不同的策略去建構自己的形象,尋求臺灣社會的接受。 |
英文摘要 | Based on the interview records, this paper analyzes and interprets the experiences of social adaptation and identity struggle of 11 Mainland Chinese brides in the Great Kaohsiung. It concludes that the interviewed Mainland Chinese brides have adopted various strategies to construct their self-images: to emphasize their similarities to local female citizens on the one hand and to belittle the foreign brides from Southeast Asia and prostitutes from the Chinese mainland on the other hand. Mainland Chinese brides usually use accommodative strategies to reduce all the possible negative effects of their unique status on their lives. Since Mainland Chinese brides spread out in the Great Kaohsiung Area, they have formed a powerful group to advance their interests. Self impression management is a most widely adopted strategy for social acceptance. |
