中文摘要 | 因使用容易且對林木之傷害較小,鑽孔阻抗儀現已被視為可用於探討立木樹輪之工具。然由阻抗儀所得之資料需進一步處理後方可得到有用之樹輪資訊,如樹輪數目與樹輪寬度。本研究之目的在利用loess非參數平滑法解讀RESISTOGRAPH®圖譜所含之樹輪資訊,並將之與由林木橫斷面影像分析所得之樹輪資訊比較。結果顯示,loess方法在判定在髓心以外區域樹輪數目與寬度之準確度極高。整體而言,所解讀樹輪資訊之準確度主要受限於阻抗儀鑽針之行進路徑。 |
英文摘要 | As an alternative to the traditional methods, micro-drilling devices can provide a faster and more-efficient way of collecting tree-ring data nondestructively. Data generated by such devices need to be further processed to yield useful tree-ring information. In this paper, we used a nonparametric regression method (loess) to extract tree-ring numbers and widths from the drilling profiles generated by a RESISTOGRAPH®. The extracted information was then compared with measurements from scanned cross-sectional images of the disc. The results suggested that the loess method indeed provided accurate estimates of ring numbers and widths, except near the pith area. Overall, the actual drilling paths controlled the accuracy of the extracted tree-ring information. Some issues which one needs to be aware of to ensure successful drilling were also discussed. |
