中文摘要 | 本研究旨在探討不同含量的黏結劑、催化劑及不同的硬化時間對於□喃自硬性模砂粒度、 壓縮強度及變形量的影響。採用□喃樹脂為黏結劑,添加量由0.8%到2.3%分為七種;磷酸催化劑 的添加量為黏結劑的40%、50%及60%,硬化時間控制在20到60分鐘,每隔10分鐘分別進行三次 以上的壓縮強度及變形量試驗,變形量荷重為10㎏~40㎏。實驗結果顯示,□喃樹脂含量愈高,□喃 模砂的AFS粒度指數愈低,亦即顆粒愈粗大,2%含量時達極限值。樹脂含量增加亦會增加□喃模 的壓縮強度,添加量在0.8%以下時強度較差;且各組模砂壓縮強度與硬化時間成正比;催化劑含量 在50%時,□喃砂的壓縮強度及粒度指數大都介於40%及60%添加量之間。雖然□喃模試片在破裂 前的變形量與承載荷重成正比,但各組自硬性砂的變形量與硬化時間並無顯著的關係。因此,造模 時應掌握適當的等待硬化時間,在□喃模砂不易變形前鬆動模型(本實驗約為20分鐘),以便順利 完成夫喃模之造模工作。 |
英文摘要 | This study used silica sand as the base sand and added the binder of furan resin in seven different amounts among 0.8% and 2.3%. Catalyst was added before adding resin and weighed in the amount of 40%, 50% and / or 60% of resin to get twenty-one experimental sand samples. Curing time was an another controlled parameter of this study regarding furan no-bake (FNB) process. The dry compressive strength and deformation of each self-curing sand sample were then tested in every ten minute from twenty minutes to one hour after well mixing. The results of this study show that the increase of furan resin content lifts up the dry compressive strength that is remarkably proportional to the curing time. Catalyst affects FNB molds on both of dry compressive strength and deformation positively at the level of 50%. Although the deformation amount of furan sand is proportional to loading weight prior to fracture, it is varied mainly following the curing time and the adding amount of furan resin and / or catalyst. Therefore, for drawing out the pattern smoothly from a furan mold, the pattern should be loosed at approximately twenty minutes after sand mixing and filling the self-curing sand into a core box or flask. |
