中文摘要 | 良好號誌連鎖系統之目的在於保障車輛能有效地運行於路網中,並具有充分利用 綠燈時間以增進車流續進的效果。因此,於設計連鎖號誌系統前應先分析路網結構及車流行 為方能達成號誌之控制目標。然而,交通工程師於從事號誌群組劃分時,大多僅憑其本身經 驗加以專業判斷,而缺乏一套客觀之判斷依據,且於決定號誌化路口連鎖之臨界路段長度時, 亦難有量化之準則。再者,車隊於號誌化路口之擴散程度,可作為判定兩相鄰路口是否值得 連鎖的依據,是故本研究之目的,即在於透過車隊擴散概念,以建立客觀且符合動態交通需 求號誌連鎖之臨界路段模式。 |
英文摘要 | A well-coordinated traffic signal system is to make vehicular platoons efficiently travel on a street network by using the signal green limes effectively in all directions. Therefore, for designing a coordinated traffic signal system, it is necessary to analyze the network configuration and its effects on the traffic flow behavior. Presently, signal grouping is determined by traffic engineers on the basis of experience and professional judgment. However, it is desirable to establish the general and measurable criteria for determining reasonable signal grouping and the critical block length in designing coordinated traffic signals. Since block length has close relationship with vehicle platoon dispersion, it has been considered as one of the major factor of choosing coordination traffic signals for progressive traffic movements. The objective of this research is to set up a mathematical model for determining a critical block length for dynamic coordinated signal system. |
