中文摘要 | 台灣地區生產之子芋(Colocasia esculenta var. antiquorm)田間性狀混雜,球莖整齊度差,品質與產量不穩定。為改善這些缺點,進行子芋品種選育,於民國92 年育成「高雄二號」。本品種蒐集自屏東縣春日鄉,經單株選拔後繁殖成為營養系,品系名稱為「高選系26 號」。在品系比較試驗、區域試驗及相關栽培試驗過程中表現優異,具有早熟、子芋整齊度高、外觀性狀良好及食味品質佳等優良特性,風味、口感及香氣均優良,不會引起口腔和喉嚨過敏。定植後6 個月為生育最盛期,至7.5~8 個月即可採收。每株可產生14-20 個子芋,合格子芋(單粒重25~45g) 6-10 個,在行株距60×30 cm 密度下栽培,合格子芋產量約為19.3 ton/ha,較對照品種赤芽芋20.9 ton/ha 稍低。對芋主要病蟲害不具抗性,栽培時需注意防治。子芋貯藏力強,室溫下可儲放9 週,10℃下則可貯藏12 週。 |
英文摘要 | Taro ‘Kaohs i ung 2’ (Col ocas ia es c ul enta var. ant i quorm) was developed as an improved variety for cormel product ion in 2003, as compared to current variety with mixed cormel shape and inferior quality. It has earlier maturity, better taste quality and appearance than the check variety ‘chih-ya-yu’ , and does not cause acrid and oral i rritation. This variety is ready for harvest at 7.5~8 months after t ransplanting. There were 14~20 cormels per plant , including 6~10 marketable ones (single cormel weighs 25~40 g) . The marketable yield was 19.3 ton/ha as compared to 20.9 t/ha of ‘chih-ya-yu’ (CK). The storability of ‘Kaohsiung 2’ would be 9 week s at room temperature, and 12 week s at 10℃ . |
