中文摘要 | 太極拳是一種源自中國的傳統武術,長年來受到中老年人的喜愛,許多研究均支持太極拳對中老年人的體適能具有正面功效,不過,這些功效是否為太極拳所特有,尚未有一致的見解。本研究目的在探討太極拳訓練對中老年人體適能之影響,以25位健康老年人為受試者(不運動組12人,年齡64.2±4.24歲,體重67.21±11.21公斤,身高169.2±6.38cm;太極拳組13人,年齡65.3±2.34歲,體重67.83±9.97公斤,身高170.1±3.52cm。)分別測定受試者的平衡感、反應時間、握力、垂直跳、敏捷性以及耐力等項目,兩組受試者的差異以獨立樣本t-test檢驗其顯著性。結果顯示,實施太極拳訓練的實驗組則在平衡感、反應時間、握力、敏捷性以及耐力方面均顯著提升。本研究得出以下結論:太極拳對於中老年人體適能的整體增進效果優於一般無運動者。 |
英文摘要 | Many researches support that Tai-chi Chuan, a traditional martial art favored by the Chinese for centuries, ahs positive effects on the physical fitness of the elderly. However, no consensus has been reached whether these effects are uniquely possessed by the Tai-chi Chuan. This study aims at probing the effects of Tai-chi to the elderly. The subjects are 25 healthy elders (control group: 12 persons, age: 64.2±4.24, weight: 67.21±11.21 kg, height: 169.2±6.38 cm; experiment group: 13 persons, age: 65.3±2.34, wegight: 67.83±9.97 kg, height: 170.1±3.52 cm.). The subjects were tested for sense of balance, reaction time, strength of grasp, vertical jump, agility and endurance to compare the difference groups of their performance. An independent t test was used to compare the differences between the two groups. The result shows that the experiment group which received Tai-chi Chuan training improves significantly on sense of balance, reaction time, strength of grasp, vertical jump, agility and endurance. The study concludes that, in terms of the total enhancement of the physical fitness for the elders, Tai-chi Chuan has more effectiveness superior to who have a sedentary lifestyle. |
