中文摘要 | 為探討窯乾材在存貯期間之含水率與尺寸變化,特將摩鹿加合歡與木 荷鋸為2×9×45cm之試體,在不同控制條件(CA:EMC=14%,30℃, 75%RH; CB:EMC=18%,30℃,86%RH)下,以密實堆疊(T1)與隔層堆疊(T2) 兩種處理 進行回潮試驗。結果顯示:窯乾材之吸濕率,以出窯後最初24小時以內為最快; 密實堆疊之試體,其吸濕率較隔層堆疊者為慢;密實堆疊材堆中央之試體,其吸 濕速度較材堆外層者為慢;試材隔層堆疊之尺寸膨脹率較密實堆疊者為大,同 時,試材末端之尺寸膨脹率較其中央部份為大。 |
英文摘要 | This study was undertaken to determine the changes in moisture content and dimensions of kiln-dried lumber under controlled temperature-humidity conditions by defferent piling methods. Albizzia falcataria and Schima superba were used for this study, and the size of the test piece was 2X9X45cm. Controlled conditions were CA:EMC=14% (30℃, 75%RH), and CB: EMC=18% (30℃, 86%RH). Piling methods (treatments) were T1= solid-piled, and T2=sticker-piled. The results of this study show that: 1.The rate of absorption of moisture in kiln-dried lumber is especially rapid when it is first removed from the kiln. Sticker-piled 2 cm Albizzia falcataria, at a inital M. C. of 7.27 percent, increased to 9.22 percent by the end of the first 24 hours, and, after 40 days, its moisture content was only 12.03 percent under a controlled-condition of 30 ℃ and 75%RH (Table 2, CA-T2). 2.There is a marked difference between the rate of absorption of lumber in sticker- piled and solid-piled; the moisture content of the former increases more rapid than the latter. The maximum average moisture content of 2cm Schima superba in sticker-piled was 15.37 percent as compared with the moisture content of 13.32 percent in solid- piled for the same condition and period (Table 2, CB). 3.Boards in the center of the solid pile do not absorb moisture as rapidly as those on the outside of the solid pile. This spread in moisture content or absorption rate, however, decreases with time (Tables 4, 5, 6 and 7). 4.During storage, the dimensional swelling rate of kiln-dried lumber in sticker-piled stack is much larger than that of the solid-piled one (Tables 8, and 9). 5.The dimensional swelling rate at the end of the board is much higher than that of its center, under the same controlled- condition and tratrment (Tables 10, and 11). |
