中文摘要 | 在全球化和知識經濟的狂濤下,社會快速變遷,終身學習已成為個人甚至是國家整體提昇競爭力的不二法門。國立臺灣科學教育館由於陳列物件豐富、展示型態多元、且具備開放性的非制式教育理念,故能成為一個可培養全民科學素養的終身學習場域,並能提供充分資源,以利學校發展學校本位課程。但據調查結果顯示(張自立、陳文華,投稿中):臺北市國小教師雖有九成以上贊成利用科教館資源發展學校本位課程,但也有四分之三的教師認為,由科教館負責規畫教學內容與教學較為合適。此明顯與發展學校本位課程的主角應是教師的理念相違背,而這個現象應與多數教師不熟悉科教館教學資源有關。有鑑於此,研究者特將科教館中全部的展示物件與國小自然與生活科技、數學、健康與體育等三科所最常使用的牛頓、康軒、翰林和南一等四種教科書版本的單元進行分析比對,以協助國小教師能初步地認識科教館中有那些物件與學校課程相關,以及其在科教館中所在的位置。冀望研究結果,能幫助教師跨出自行設計教學活動的第一步,奠定開創教師專業自主和學校本位課程的契機。 |
英文摘要 | Our society changes so fast under the influence of globalization and knowledge-based economy that life-long learning has become the only way to enhance the competitive capability for the individuals and for the whole country. Due to its characteristics, the national Taiwan Science Education Center is extremely suitable for life-long learning, for cultivating the scientific literacy for all the citizens, and for providing schools with resources to develop school-based curriculum. Based on a previous survey done by Chang and Chen (paper submitted), a majority of elementary school teachrs prefer the science center to design and instruct students' learning activities. However, this is in violation of the spirit of the development of school-based curriculum. Perhaps the inconsistency is due to the fact that most of the teachers are not familiar with the instructional resources in the science center. In order to help the teachers to know better what resources in the science center are related to the school curriculum, we scrupulously compare every unit covered in the textbooks of science and life technology, mathematics, and health and physical education with all the exhibition objects in the science center. Hopefully, our results can be useful for those teachers who are interested in designing the learning activities in the science center. |
