中文摘要 | 本研究之主要目的在於了解美國小學教師職前教育的歷史發展及各項制度內容。本研究透過文獻探討,歸納整理美國小學教師職前教育的歷史發展、理念取向、課程結構、教育實習制度、教師證照制度、師資培育學程評鑑認可制度等各方面的理論與實務,進而針對我國現況與問題脈絡,提出若干改革建議,作為規劃我國小學教師職前教育專業化的參酌。 本研究結果歸納出:在社會政治經濟發展對師資培育制度的影響方面,美國的小學師資培育制度隨著社會經濟的變化而發展,而教育改革對師資培育制度產生很大的衝擊。在理念與課程方面,表現出理念取向多樣化、課程結構的差異受修業年限及理念取向等因素的影響、課程強調結合理論與實務、以及課程注重統整性等。 在實習導入制度方面,普遍強調教育實習的重要性、教育實習制度漸次改善、導入制度逐漸受到重視、以及教學檔案的應用逐漸受到重視。在教師能力檢測及證照制度方面,以基本能力測驗作為初步的篩檢機制、以教師專業成長作為換證的條件、以全國性證書建立教學專業性。在師資培育學程的評鑑認可方面,專業組織扮演重要角色,評鑑制度也日趨成熟。 根據以上研究結果,茲針對我國師資培育制度提出以下幾點建議:首先是政府應協助師範院校進行轉型。在理念課程方面,師資培育機構宜澄清並提出理念取向,然後根據理念取向組織統整師資培育課程。在實習制度方面,應注意實習學校的選擇安排、加強實習補導老師的遴選及儲訓、落實實習教師的成績考核。在教師能力檢測及證照制度方面,要落實教師資格檢定制度;成立教師檢定專責單位、建立教學補導教師及教師換證制度。最後,在師資培育學程的評鑑認可方面,則可成立全國性的師資培育認可機構、發展評鑑標準及程序、遴選與培訓師資培育評鑑專業人才、以及進行師資培育評鑑有關的專案研究。 |
英文摘要 | The purpose of this study was to explore the historical background and the development and practices of preservice teacher educational programs for elementary school teachers in United States. Based on a literature review, the research conclusions are as follows: 1.The influence of social politics and economics over the preservice teacher educational system: (1)The development of preservice teacher educational system follows the changes of social politics and economics. (2)There is a marked impact of educational reform on preservice teacher educational system. 2.As to the program framework and curriculum, (1)there are several distinguished program frameworks, (2)the reflective framework has been getting much more attention, (3)the arrangement of curriculum is effected by the framework, (4)the emphasis on the integration of theory and practices, (5)the coherence of curriculums is stressed. 3.As toe the field experience and induction program, (1)the importance of field experience is recognized, (2)the practices of field experience is gradually improved, (3)the induction program has received much more attention than befor, (4)the utilization of teaching portfolio is common. 4.As to the teacher testing and licensing, (1)the teacher tests are widely used, (2)a connection between teacher professional development and license renewal is built, (3)a nation-wide certification system has been proposed to improve the development of teaching profession. 5.As to the acdreditation of teacher education programs, (1)the professional organizations have played important roles at the acdreditation practices, (2)the accreditation practice has been improved. |
