中文摘要 | 本研究是以訊息保存(IP; Information Preservation)模擬法對前向式階梯(forward-facing step)低速微通道流場進行數值分析。傳統以直接蒙地卡羅模擬法(DSMC; direct simulation Monte Carlo)對低速及高稀薄度的微通通流場進行模擬時,總遭遇統計散度的問題,因而產生計算誤差及對電腦之資源需求過大等因難,故僅有少數的文獻著手低進微通道流場的研究。本研究結論發現IP模擬法除可快速的達到穩定及消除統計誤差外,其所得結果與傳統DSMC模擬法所獲致之結果極為吻合,是目前模擬微通道低進稀薄體流動較可行的方法。 |
英文摘要 | In this paper, low-speed pressure-driven gaseous flow in micro-channel with forward-facing step is simulated by Information Preservation (IP) method. Simulating the low-speed and highly rarefied flows by Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method usually encounters the problem of statistical scatter. Hence, only fewer literatures with DSMC method were exhibited to explore the low-speed microchannel flow for its largely statistical errors and computation difficulties. The results of this study show that the IP method not only speed up the calculation steps to the equilibrium, but also successfully suppress the statistical error. At the same time, the simulation results obtained by IP and DSMC method have also shown a good agreement. Therefore, IP method appears to the better available way of dealing with the low speed, rarefied gas flow in the microchannel. |
