英文摘要 | Purpose: Based on Basic Psychological Needs Theory (Ryan & Deci, 2000), the present study aimed to examine the mediation of basic psychological needs on perceived motivational climate in predicting subjective vitality. Methods: Three hundred and ninety-nine cheerleading athletes (Mage = 16.36) were recruited. The measurement, such as Perceived Motivational Climate in Sport Questionnaire, Basic Need Satisfaction Scale, and Subjective Vitality Scale, were used. Main statistic methods were multiple simultaneous regression and multiple hierarchical regression. Results: Results showed both perceived mastery climate (PMC) and perceived performance climate (PPC) positively predicted satisfaction of the needs for autonomy and competence. Besides, PMC was also the positive predictors of subjective vitality and relatedness need satisfaction. The satisfaction of needs for autonomy, competence and relatedness not only positively predicted subjective vitality, but also partially mediated the prediction of PMC to subjective vitality. Conclusion: According to these results, coaches may emphasize the importance of efforts, cooperation, progress, and skill mastery as possible as they can, and then the athletes may have high satisfaction of needs for autonomy, competence and relatedness, and they also feel energetic in training. |
