中文摘要 | 目前全球高球人口為五至六千萬人,球桿需求逐年成長,傳統機能導向的球桿已不符市場需求,生命週期逐漸降低,並開始重視成年男性市場。過去產品依靠設計師專業知識進行設計,導致新產品開發過程中充滿不確定與風險性。惟有將使用者真正的需求納入設計開發的考量中,才能面對市場的考驗。本研究應用語意差異分析法,透過形容詞語彙來分析設計師和使用者對產品造形的偏好與意象認知。研究結果發現:1. 設計師和使用者在偏好、意象及造形特徵認知確實存在差異。2. 兩受測群體在開球桿頭造形整體線條輪廓、層次感及專業性方面觀感差異較大。3. 偏好意象方面,設計師偏好高貴、細膩意象;使用者偏好快速、輕薄、細膩意象。4. 造形特徵部分,設計師重視色塊分配比例及整體輪廓;使用者最重視打擊面造形及底部造形。 |
英文摘要 | Current global golf population is up to 50-60 million people, which increases the need for golf products yearly. Traditional function-based golf drivers do not meet the needs of the current market. Now the Golf producer begins to emphasize women and teenage market other than adults. New golf drivers place emphasis on Hi-tech material and fashionable shape to quickly catch customers’ attention. In the past, golf product design depended on designers or Golf players. This causes new product development filled with indetermination and risks, since user preferences were not considered during ideation. Golf designers must realize differences between designers and users’ perception, and incorporate their preferences in early process of design. This study used semantic differential method to analyze perception and preference of golf drivers’ form. There are four purposes: 1. constructing the estimating criteria and deconstructing geometrical features of golf drivers form, 2. comparing the perceptual and preferring differences between designers and users in terms of golf drivers’ form, 3. Investigating the association among perception, form features and preferences, 4. Integrating the design guidelines of golf drivers based on users’ preference and perception. The results show differences between designers’ and users’ perception and preference toward product form of golf drivers. The perception of geometrical features of golf drivers, as global contour, gradations, and specialization had presented a significant difference between designers and users. Designers preferred noble and exquisite image, while users favored speedy, light and exquisite image of golf drivers. In estimating the importance of geometrical features of golf drivers, designers favored the proportion of color blocks and contours, while users preferred face and sole form of golf drivers. Based on these conclusions, the golf drivers design suggestions is proposed. |
