英文摘要 | The neutral fraction for low energy H⁺ scattered from an aluminum surface is calculated. The surface plasmon-assisted excitation mechanism was assumed for neutralizing the H⁺ ion back-scattered from the surface. In the calculation of the transition rate process, the nonadiabatic ion approximation was used. The neutral fraction takes the general exponential decaying form. Its dependence on the velocity of the scattered ion in parallel to the surface direction is well satisfied for the energy range discussed (0.1–5 keV) with a characteristic velocity vc equaling 0.75 in atomic units. |
